Scouts continue to decorate local graves of military veterans for Memorial Day

Joined by the boys from Cub Scout Pack 16 and Boy Scout Troop 16 and their parents, members of Marbletown American Legion Post 1512 conducted their reverent activity of the decoration of local graves on May 20 in recognition of Memorial Day.

Thank you to those boys who came out to help the members of the American Legion decorate local graves of veterans,” said Commander Kathy Fallon. “Our American Legion Post does this every year just before Memorial Day, a humbling reminder that Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who have served in our military and died. We could not do it without the assistance of some of our Troop 16 Boy Scouts and Pack 16 Cub Scouts who have helped for several years.”
