During Community Days, when admission to the mountain house is free and open to the public, enjoy the Art & Craft Expo and Sale at Mohonk Mountain House, 1000 Mountain Rest Road, New Paltz. The expo offers a great variety of media, including fine arts, photography, ceramics, glassworks, woodworks, one-of-a-kind jewelry, hand-painted gourds, and unique clocks. The list of exhibitors (all local) is still being updated, but so far the event features Brinton Baker, Paola Bari, Harriet Forman Barrett*, PK Brown, Devon Cameron*, Larry Chapman*, Brenna Chase, Russel Cusick, Ann Egan, Dina Falconi, Mary Fassberger, Tarryl Gabel, Wendy Hollender, Judith Hoyt, Nicole Jurain, Leonie Lacouette, Mary Leary, Matt Maley, John G. Perrella, Marlo Richards, RoseAnna, Marysa Sacerdote, Mitchell Saler, Prudence See, Kaete Brittin Shaw, Jim Smith*, Erin von Holdt-Gilbert, April Warren and Laura Willensky. The expo will be held 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 9-11, in the parlor room on the first floor, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, will be a reduced show with a small portion of exhibitors (*) in the Mountain View Room. Also, don't miss the displays of the gingerbread competition winning entries. And on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 11:15 a.m., join Wired Gallery of High Falls owner Sevan Melikyan, as he leads a free Mountain House history tour.
