CCE’s Fall Kitchen Classes Series presents ‘Dehydrating’

Enjoy the time in the kitchen and learn how to preserve the bountiful fall harvest! Join master food preserver Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County nutrition educator and professional cook of 25 years Janie Greenwald as she hosts the Kitchen Class Series with “Dehydrating,” 9 a.m.-noon Thursday, Sept. 21, at CCE Ulster’s Education Center, 232 Plaza Road (Hannaford Plaza), Kingston. Learn one of the oldest methods of food preservation. All classes provide safe and reliable information and are a completely hands-on experience. Each monthly class with a new topic each time is $35, or get a discount for two or more classes, or two or more people, for only $30 each class. Register by the Monday before each class (Sept. 18) to allow purchase of the perishable supplies needed.
