‘Collective Expeditions’ art exhibit by International Society of Antiquaries at Ulster

SUNY Ulster brings the inaugural show by the International Society of Antiquaries, titled “Collective Expeditions,” to the Muroff Kotler Visual Arts Gallery in Vanderlyn Hall, Room 265, on the campus at 491 Cottekill Road, Stone Ridge. The exhibit, on display through Dec. 13, is free and open to the public. The International Society of Antiquaries is a league of artists who are bound by a desire to look back in order to look forward. “Collective Expeditions” features painting, works on paper, sculpture and installation. Members of the International Society of Antiquaries presenting in this exhibit are Kyle Cottier, Olivia Baldwin, Elisa Pritzker and Greg Slick. The International Society of Antiquaries is a multidisciplinary society established in 2018, committed to the scholarship and preservation of material culture and sites of historic value, fostering a collaboration between artists, esotericists, archaeologists, and anthropologists.
