Emily Feigelman, January artist of the month at the Rosedale Cafe

Paintings by local artist Emily Feigelman will be featured through Jan. 31 at the Rosendale Café, 434 Main St., Rosendale. Feigelman, a senior at SUNY New Paltz, is studying visual arts education with hopes to pursue a Master of Fine Art degree in painting. She also studied art in the pre-college program at Skidmore and at the Huntington School of Fine Art. Feigelman grew up in Merrick and came to the Hudson Valley in 2015. She enjoys rock climbing, hiking and being an active participant with the on-campus organization, Oxfam, which focuses on the alleviation of global poverty.
