Posted

Join the community, 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at the Marbletown Community Center, 3564 Main St./Route 209, Stone Ridge, for a class on “How to Keep Your Eyes Healthy” with Marc Grossman, O.D. Sponsored by the Rondout Valley Holistic Health Community, Grossman will show how the eyes are intimately connected to the brain and the body, to attitudes and beliefs. How one sees and reacts to life situations can affect their vision. Grossman uses a full range of mind/body therapies combined with conventional approaches to address conditions such as nearsightedness, presbyopia (the over-40 syndrome), macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma and more. For over 30 years, he has helped people maintain healthy vision and even improve eyesight. Grossman is a holistic eye doctor who has written five books on natural eye care, including: “Natural Eye Care,” “Magic Eye Beyond 3D” and “Improve Your Vision.” Within the Rondout Valley Holistic Health Community, healthcare takes body, mind, emotions,
and spirit into account. As health issues are addressed, individuals play an active and responsible role in the healing process. To help community members learn how to help themselves, RVHHC offer a series of monthly classes in holistic self-care. The body knows how to heal itself when given the proper support. Come and learn a variety of methods to support well-being. For more information, visit rvhhc.org.
