‘Grease’ is the word at Rondout

This American musical romantic comedy will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23 and 24, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, in the high school auditorium at Rondout, 122 Kyserike Road, Accord. Doors open a half-hour before the musical begins. Experience the friendships, romances and adventures of a group of high school kids in the 1950s with the singing and dancing world of “Grease,” including those memorable songs: “Summer Lovin',” “Greased Lightnin’,” and “We Go Together,” just to name a few. The high school production is directed by Kevin Archambalt, with producer and musical director Randolph Loder and vocal director Lucas Rau. Cast members/roles include: Rebecca Spencer as Sandy; Markian Ougrin, Danny; Isabella LaFiandra, Rizzo; Morgan Burke, Kenickie; Lexi Frumenti, Jan; Sarah Vasconi, Marty; Avery Britt, Frenchie; Alex LaSalvia, Roger; Matt Nusbaum, Doody; Josh Dorney, Sonny; Lene Fornino, Patty; Olivia Weinstein, Miss Lynch; Gianna Soricelli, Cha-Cha; Matthew Wasylyk, Eugene; Alex Finger, Vince Fontaine and Adrian Cristian-Fernandez as Johnny Casino.
