John Currie Southeast Asia photographs on exhibit at Stone Ridge Library

The Stone Ridge Library will host a photography exhibition featuring the work of Marbletown resident John Currie through Dec. 15, at the library, 3700 Main St., Stone Ridge. The work is available for purchase, matted and framed. Currie, born in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1948, has lived and worked as a photographer around the world. Among his subjects, including captains of industry, leaders of countries and fine hotels, his roots are “buried deep in the streets and the cities” where he always returns. The Stone Ridge Library show is focused on images from a recent trip to Laos and Vietnam and reflects the color and character – and faces “that I adore,” said Currie.
