Marbletown's Mira Fink’s Outdoor Painting Class

Paint in watercolor, acrylics or oils at the area’s parks and historic sites. The class will be held Saturdays, Sept. 12, 19, 26, Oct. 3, 10, 17 with rain dates, Oct. 24, 31, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Learn about choosing a painting location, developing a good composition, creating color values and more in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Demonstrations will be conducted in watercolors and acrylics, but all media are welcome. Open to both beginners and painters at all levels. Some previous drawing experience is helpful. Suggested materials and a list of painting locations will be provided upon registration. Instructor Mira Fink has BFA in painting from SUNY New Paltz, a master’s in teaching and studied painting at the Woodstock School of Art. She has taught art at Mill Street Loft’s Dutchess Arts Camp, the Town of Esopus Library, Arts Society of Kingston, the Wallkill River School of Art, the Art School of Columbia County and at the Woodland Pond Senior Residence.
