‘Murder me always,’ a night of comedy dinner theater

The doors at Unison Learning Center, Inc., 68 Mountain Rest Road, New Paltz, open at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and show beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 28, for the “Murder me always” performance by Frank Marquette’s Theatre on the Road of Rosendale. Join the community for a hardboiled mystery set in the 1940s. Private-eye Archie Morgan invites everyone to the Cafe Malta … an oasis for lost souls where Lady de Winter, the cafe’s owner, seeks her husband’s killer. Grimaldi, a shady doctor, and Trigger Nolan, his sidekick, are searching for a lost fortune. Cafe singer Laura will be interrupted by a soldier with amnesia. Chandler, the mysterious bartender has no past, and the radio just announced Mad Dog Dobbs has escaped from Sing Sing.
