Opening Reception for the Exhibition, "Balancing Act"

Join us at Women’s Studio Workshop for the opening reception of “Balancing Act,” a group show featuring the work of artists Aurora Brush, Lorraine Cruz, Nina Rivera, Sarah-Anne Winchester, and Emily Wortmann. The artists explore the ways in which they have cultivated their identities despite the dissonance between societal judgments and their sense of self. Their work examines the strategies they have each developed to cope with this duality. The opening reception will be followed by presentations by resident artists Natalia Arbelaez, Sara Quinn, and Karen Donellan. This event is free and open to the public, and the exhibition will be on view until March 20th. We hope to see you there!
