Repair Cafe Rosendale gets things fixed, for free

Posted

Members of the community are invited to bring their beloved but broken items to St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1017 Keator Ave., Rosendale, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 26, for free repair. Working together with volunteer repair coaches, all sorts of items can be fixed: wood items, electrical/mechanical, jewelry, textiles (sewing), digital, books, photo restoration, plus knives can be sharpened and new friends made! Limit of two items per person, and please bring a donation for the Rosendale Food Pantry. Volunteer repair coaches are always needed. Whatever the area of interest and skill, join in. No need to be a super expert, and there is lots of support from the other coaches. Or help out at the welcome table or in the “café” – very sociable!
