Rondout Valley High School announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2020. The valedictorian is Grace Barnum, with a GPA of 100.2. She is the daughter of Stephen and Eliana Barnum of Rosendale. Grace is an active member of Mock Trial, National Honor Society, Newcomers Uplifted and the Science Olympiad Team and is a class officer. She also participated in cross country and track and field. Grace plans on majoring in biology or public health.
The salutatorian is Lara Goldstein, with a GPA of 99.98. She is the daughter of Phillip and Rita Goldstein of Accord. Lara is on the Math Team, is an active member of Mock Trial, National Honor Society, Community Service Club, the school play and the Science Olympiad Team. She also played volleyball and was a peer leader. Lara plans to major in biology.
