Tammy Jeffs Bruce 56, formally of Rosendale passed away on July 24, 2024 in Queens, N.Y. She was born January 27, 1968, daughter of the late Helen Middaugh. Tammy graduated from Rondout Valley High School. She married the love of her life Jeffrey Bruce on May 16, 1992. Jeff passed away January 2019. She met Jeff while they both were employed at Gateway Industries in New Paltz and they spent 26 years always by each other’s side.
In addition to her husband, Tammy was predeceased by her mother Helen and 2 brothers Gary and Steve Quick. She is survived by a sister Barbara Podejko, brothers Wayne and Robert Quick, niece Lisa Quick, nephews Kenny Palazzo, Steven Podejko, Joseph. Procyk, and many friends, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Tammy was a devoted wife, family member and friend who never forgot anyone’s birthday or anniversary. She had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh.
Cremation was under the guidance of Ackerman’s Funeral Chapel in the Bronx. Burial will be in the Rosendale Plains Cemetery. There are no services.
