Presented by the Music Fan Series, this documentary, “The Night James Brown Saved Boston,” tells the story about how a James Brown concert at Boston Garden in April 1968 saved the city from rioting after the Martin Luther King assassination. The film, to be shown 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the Rosendale Theatre, 408 Main St., Rosendale, includes actual performance footage and tells the compelling story of an artist at the peak of his career using his artistry for the greater good.
