Ashokan's sixth annual family-friendly weekend retreat for ukulele players of all skill levels, Uke Fest, will be held May 25-28 at the Ashokan Center, 477 Beaverkill Road, Olivebridge. The festival features workshops, concerts, jam sessions, great food and lots of fun. Tuition includes all classes, meals and a concert by a world-class staff. As part of the festival, an All-Star Uke Concert will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at the Ashokan Center. The concert presents seven ukulele greats: Daniel Ward, Heidi Swedberg, Kevin Carroll, Fred Sokolow, Lynn Sokolow, Gerald Ross and Ben Hassenger playing swing, jazz, blues, bluegrass, Latin, folk and rock.
