Local News from Marbletown, Rochester, & Rosendale
In honor of National Poetry Month, the Woodstock Library Forum will be hosting four Hudson Valley poets in a unique program on Saturday, April 27th, 2019, beginning at 5:00pm. The poets are Marianna Boncek, Michael Platsky, Guy Reed, and Cheryl A. Rice.
Each poet has been asked to talk about their earliest and deepest poetry influences, and how
these poets have affected their art. They will be reading from the work of these early inspirations,
as well as poems of their own where the influence is visible, in word or spirit.
