Translucent Borders The Ashokan Center is thrilled to introduce Translucent Borders Weekend, a vibrant celebration of music, dance, and cultural exchange taking place April 46, 2025. Participants are invited to immerse themselves in the rich and interconnected traditions of music and dance from West Africa, Scandinavia, and the Middle East. The event will culminate in an exciting public performance of work by the students and teachers Sunday, April 6, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM, called the Global Shindig.
