Deadline for reservations is Sunday, Dec. 1 for the AAUW (American Association of University Women) and SSIP (Seniors Serving in Place) Sunday, Dec. 8 trip to New York City’s MAD (Museum of Arts and Design) with a stop at Trader Joe’s on the way home. Check out MAD’s exhibits at madmuseum.org. Open to all, the AAUW supports educational opportunities for women and girls locally, nationally and internationally. SSIP help people to stay in their own homes and keep active in their own communities.
Cost is $75/$69 for AAUW and SSIP members which includes bus, driver tip and museum entrance. $50 for bus alone to Christmas shop in NYC. Bus leaves the Kingston Plaza (behind Hannaford’s) at 9 a.m. and also picks up at New Paltz Park-n-Ride at 9:30 a.m. For reservations, call ViVi at 845-331-0155 or email vvhlavsa@aol.com, then make check to AAUW-Kingston Branch and send to ViVi Hlavsa, 191 Lapla Road, Kingston 12401.
