Adult learning summer series tree identification hike at Minnewaska

Join Laura Conner, Environmental Educator, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday, July 8 for a casual hike along the Beacon Hill hiking loop to learn some of the more common trees. This approximately three-mile route features easy walking carriage roads and a cliff-edge footpath. which includes some modest hills and potentially tricky footing that may be challenging for people who are not familiar with hiking or who have some physical limitations. Participants should meet at the Lake Minnewaska Visitor Center, 5281 Route 44-55, Kerhonkson. Pre-registration is required by calling the Lake Minnewaska Visitor Center at 845-255-0752.
