Dion Ogust’s ‘Into Landscape’ and Dilara Miller’s ‘Sultana Crossword’ exhibition

The Wired Gallery presents two distinct solo exhibitions, “Into Landscape” by Dion Ogust and “Sultana Crossword” by Dilara Miller, running concurrently through July 27 with the opening reception, 5-7 p.m. Saturday, July 5, at the Wired Gallery, 11 Mohonk Road, High Falls.

Ogust, a long-time visual artist and photographer, expanded her practice to include printmaking and painting, studying at the Woodstock School of Art. She turns to nature for inspiration and renewal, painting both real and imagined scenes that celebrate the planet’s intrinsic artistry.

A High Falls-based interdisciplinary artist, Miller’s ceramics and prints critically engage with the social and cultural experiences of being a Turkish-American Muslim woman. Drawing from antiquities and historical epochs, she examines patterns of hierarchy and eco-feminist themes, reflecting on women’s roles in spirituality and generational cycles.

Admission to the Wired Gallery is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, visit thewiredgallery.com or call 682-564-5613.
