Flora and Fauna, a compilation exhibition by Donna Calcavecchio of High Falls

Posted

A trained illustrator and designer, Donna Calcavecchhio has a BFA with a major in illustration from Manhattan’s School of Visual Arts and has worked as a graphic designer for the past 30 years. Her interest in illustration was reignited several years ago after taking a workshop with Accord botanical illustrator, Wendy Hollander, which led to many more, and additional classes with Carol Woodin and programs at New York Botanical Garden including one in plant morphology with the late Dick Rauh. As a Hudson Valley native, she became fascinated by all things in nature. Enjoy her flora and fauna exhibition in November and December, at the Stone Ridge Library, 3700 Main St., Stone Ridge.
