Goodbye, Tired Eyes: An Online Course With the Omega Institute

The increased time we spend staring at computer screens and smartphones takes a toll on our eyes. But we can develop a daily practice to help strengthen vision and soothe our strained and tired eyes.

Led by behavioral optometrist Marc Grossman and yoga teacher Daniel Orlansky, this 2-hour interactive online course introduces a combination of the best practices for improving eye health from Eastern and Western methods.

Learn how to create an infrastructure for better vision with the five “Bs” of eye healthcare, and practice exercises to improve eye health such as:

- Simple breathing techniques to bathe the eyes with oxygen

- Chinese eye massage using powerful acupressure points

- Exercises to develop convergence, the ability of both eyes to look at the same point

- Exercises to develop accommodation, the ability to change focus from one point to another

- Gentle yoga stretches and simple movements to relax your neck and shoulders, allowing for more circulation to your brain and eyes
