The Raging Canal - An Immersive Play

Siren Theatre Company present “The Raging Canal” the first three weekends of June 2023 at the D&H Canal Museum.

With the support of the D&H Canal Historical Society, we present an immersive theatre experience unlike any other. The storyline focuses on the lives of the immigrants and marginalized workers who lived, loved, and worked along the D&H Canal in the 19th century, and the cultural and racial tensions that existed during that time. The audience will move from room to room and along the canal, following different characters from place to place to unravel the entirety of the character’s lives based on true stories and research that has been published by historian Bill Merchant.
