Youth actors, age, 11-13 will learn the fundamentals of short form live improv. Based upon Upright Citizen’s Brigade’s approach, the program, running 4:15-5:45 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 14-Nov. 16, with culminating Sharing Sunday, 11 a.m. Nov. 12, at the Rosendale Theatre, 408 Main St., Rosendale will be taught by veteran improvisational creator Joseph Davis, director of Happenstancery Improv. Youth actors will spend 10 weeks stretching their imaginations, learning how to collaborate as part of a team, and partnering with other actors to create sketch comedy in the spontaneous fast-paced creation of combustible situations, characters and storylines.
