Join the community, 4:30-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 for Rondout Valley High School’s Third Annual Homecoming Food Truck Festival, in the Second Street Parking Lot, at the school, 122 Kyserike Road, Accord. Bring your friends and family to enjoy delicious food, student booths, and all-around family fun! Admission is free.
Some of the businesses offering food trucks include Frankie’s French Fries, Latin Chi, Niko’s Gyros, Mac Factor, Dutchess Dog House, Santorini, Legal Swine BBQ, the Bus El Danzante, Frozen Caboose, The Ground Up, Pura Vida Kettle Corn and much more! Selections range from barbecue, tacos, burgers, gyros and nachos to corn dogs, fries, kettle corn, mac & cheese; the list goes on and on. Dine in the outdoor Gander Garden or bring chairs or blankets for lawn seating.
There will be two athletic games this year. The evening will kick off with a Homecoming Soccer game at 4:15 p.m. followed by the Homecoming Football game at 7 p.m. under the lights. Show your #GanderPride by wearing blue and white!
To further ensure the safety and security of all visitors, Rondout plans to increase our staff and security presence during this year’s event. Parking will be available on First Street and Third Street. Note that Second Street will be closed and reserved for the vendors only.
