Hot chocolate and painting workshop Saturday afternoon in Stone Ridge

Painterly Delights, off Tongore Road, Stone Ridge, will host a “Hot Chocolate and Painting of Hudson Valley Cabin in the Woods” paint party, 2-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the studio. Sip some hot cocoa while enjoying a relaxing afternoon learning, step by step, how to paint a landscape, with all food, materials and instruction included in one price. For the next session of Painterly Delights, 2-4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, participants can come and paint their pets at the Rondout Valley United Methodist Church, 25 Schoonmaker Lane, Stone Ridge; the event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit group (C.A.T.S.), Cats Aside to Survive.
