Dr. Marianna Boncek, author, presents "Sholem: The First Agricultural Jewish Community in Ulster County." Sholem was founded in 1837 near Wawarsing, New York (Ulster County.) While the community itself was not successful, this represents a significant part of Jewish history in the United States as well as, an important part of the history of Ulster County and the Catskills

The Delaware & Hudson Canal Museum is open Saturdays and Sundays through October from 10a-4:30p. Museum admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children aged 12 and under. Flea Market occurs in Grady Park on Route 213 in High Falls on Sundays from 9a-4p. The market features vendors of antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing, jewelry, and more.
