The Wired Gallery kicks off its 12th exhibition year with the opening reception of Origins, the artwork of Edward M. O'Hara, 4-6 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at the gallery, 11 Mohonk Road, High Falls. This solo exhibition will run through June 9, showcasing O'Hara's mesmerizing paintings and drawings that explore the essence of eternity through abstraction and meticulous layering. O’Hara is a native New Yorker and studied fine art at CUNY Queens College. "Making art is honoring god,” said O’Hara. “My art is a physical process inciting a metaphysical result, allowing the viewer to explore and feel the work without the articulation of a specific narrative."
