Join Sean Dembrosky of Edible Acres (edibleacres.org) to learn about how to start a small-scale plant nursery for profit and to support the homestead or farm. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County will host a Small Scale Permaculture Nursery Workshop for home or commercial growers of any experience level, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at CCEUC, 232 Plaza Road, Kingston. Dembrosky will discuss growing trees from seed, plant propagation from divisions, cuttings, runners and other permaculture techniques. Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited. Registration is priced on a sliding scale - $20, $10, or $0, depending on ability to pay. Register online at https://tinyurl.com/Perm-Nursery or by phone with Richard at 344-1234.
