Spring Cleaning Day in High Falls

Posted

High Falls Conservancy invites all residents and friends of High Falls to come to Grady Park, rain or shine, 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4 to help clean up the Main Street of High Falls. This day is part of the Conservancy’s work with the NY State Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway program. For the past eight years, the Conservancy has sponsored Spring Cleaning Day in High Falls and has coordinated this day with Riverkeeper’s SWEEP to help clean up around the Rondout in High Falls.

Come to the Flagpole at Grady Park in High Falls to start the day with coffee and donuts, courtesy of Mimi at Davenport Farms; meet other volunteers; and then head on out to pick up on the highway and near the Rondout. This is always a fun day and feels good to give back to the community. Visit highfallsconservancey.org or call Carole at 917-705-8711 for more info.
