Join Mycologist Luke Sarrantonio, 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at the Snyder Estate, 668 Route 213, Rosendale for an educational walk-and-talk about the local ecosystem. Founder of “For the Love of Fungi, Annual Mushroom and Arts Festival,” Sarrantonio is a fungi educator, forager, cultivator and consultant striving for deeper ecological understanding and sharing fungi fascination. The walk will be followed by a hands-on demonstration on using an extractigator, a tool used to remove invasive plants by the root. This tool is available at Rosendale Library, at 264 Main St., Rosendale to Rosendale Library cardholders.
Come and help rid the Snyder Estate of some of their invasive plant species!
