‘The Daily Flame: Listening to the Voice of Inner Wisdom’ with Lissa Rankin, M.D.

Posted

Each person is born with an inextinguishable light of divinity that Dr. Lissa Rankin calls an “inner pilot light.” Although this light never goes out, life’s inevitable traumas can film over this inner radiance, crowding minds with clutter and making it difficult to hear, recognize, interpret, and discern the spiritual guidance that arises from Divine essence that animates all beings.  In “The Daily Flame,” physician, mystic, and New York Times bestselling author Rankin helps readers access their inner wisdom through 365 encouraging letters from the "inner pilot light," the voice within that knows what is needed and when. The Rondout Valley Holistic Health Community, in collaboration with the Morty and Gloria Wolosoff Foundation, present this evening with Rankin, 7-9 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at MaMA (Marbletown Multi Arts), 3588 Main St., Stone Ridge. Suggested donation is $10, and all who come will be given a free copy of Rankin’s book. She first encountered her own “inner pilot light” in 2005 when, during an especially dark time in Rankin’s personal life, a voice of pure, unconditional love came to offer support and guidance. Over time, she began receiving and writing down daily messages of encouragement and empowerment from this voice. Rankin, author of “The Daily Flame,” “Mind Over Medicine,” “The Fear Cure” and “The Anatomy of a Calling,” is founder of the Whole Health Medicine Institute. For more information, visit rvhhc.org.
