The Falcon Underground Celebrates Native American Culture every month, with host Evan Pritchard, who will introduce special guests, native music, history and spoken word.

Vocalist, actress, dancer, composer, poet-lyricist, percussionist and choreographer, Henry’s credits span the National Tour of Camelot with Richard Harris, the West Side Story 30th Anniversary Company, TV-movie Everyday Heroes, Walt Disney’s Pocahontas & LionsGate’s Blood Red Earth, appearances with guitarist Kenny Burrell, Pete Seeger, Paul Winter and R. Carlos Nakai, recordings including two jazz albums with legendary drummer Jack DeJohnette, Earthwalk and Music for the Fifth World with John Scofield and Living Colour’s Will Calhoun & Vernon Reid. Her works include solo CDs and collaborations; among them stories co-produced with her son GC, traditional songs, and contemporary creations with longtime musical allies Gus Mancini, Ken Lovelett, Dennis Yerry and other fellow artists.
Ms. Henry is both dekanogisgi (traditional song-carrier) and hahesh’kah (lead drummer), and a Native Women’s Traditional dancer. Encouraged by her elders, she founded acclaimed traditional drum group Mothers of Nations Singers & Dancers – the first women’s drum ever invited to the National Native American Veterans Powwow in Washington DC and the first to preside at Indigenous Peoples’ Day Opening Ceremonies for the United Nations – where Ms. Henry has since presented on healing & spirituality among First Nations women and offered opening prayers & song for the International Day of Peace and the World Indigenous Forum.

Evan Pritchard (Mi’kmaq), has authored of 35 books on Native American culture and sings both traditional and original songs accompanied by guitars, drums, flutes, shakers, or djeegumadesq (Mi’kmaq instrument).
Evan has led hundreds of interactive events over the past 20 years. A longtime collaborator with Pete Seeger, Pritchard organized the 2013 Two Row Wampum Music Festival, Beacon NY, and the 2017 “Standing Rock on Hudson” concert series, one of which was performed at the Annual Clearwater Festival. He is a widely published historian and poet, has released several music CDs, and is frequently seen on The History Channel.
