Women's Studio Workshop's 24th Annual Chili Bowl Fest Fundraiser

On February 27th, the Women’s Studio Workshop’s beloved Chili Bowl Fest Fundraiser returns as a fully online bowl sale! For over two decades, this event has been a celebration of ceramics and community and has become a staple of Rosendale’s public festival schedule. To continue in this tradition while adhering to New York State’s health guidelines around the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival has been transformed into a one-day virtual sale of handmade ceramics!

Starting at 10 AM EST, over 200 beautiful bowls hand-crafted by local artists, WSW staff and interns, resident artists, students, and volunteers will be available for immediate purchase. Because so many hands contribute to this process, each vessel is one-of-a-kind, and widely varied in shape, size, color, decoration, and, of course, price-point. Guests always have a blast looking for the perfect piece.

Each bowl will be double-boxed, carefully packaged with recyclable materials, and mailed directly to your door for ultimate safety and ease.

Women's Studio Workshop (WSW) is a visual arts organization in Rosendale, New York. Since 1974, WSW has brought over 5,000 artists from across the globe to work in the printmaking, hand papermaking, letterpress printing, photography, book arts, and ceramics studios. Over 6,500 Ulster County youth have participated in WSW’s Art-in-Education program. WSW’s artists’ book grant program has published more than 200 artists’ books, collected by special collections of major libraries and museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Tate Modern, and The Library of Congress, among others.
