Inventor Caractacus Potts (Dick Van Dyke) transforms a broken-down race car into a magical vehicle and together with his two children and Truly Scrumptious (Sally Ann Howes) set off on a magical adventure to save both their grandfather and the imprisoned children they encounter along the way.
