First Annual Alumni Family Fest at SUNY Ulster and off-campus soccer game at Rondout

SUNY Ulster invites all alumni and their families to join in on an afternoon of fun at its first annual Alumni Family Fest, 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, on the Stone Ridge Campus, 491 Cottekill Road, Stone Ridge. The on-campus afternoon is followed by an off-campus soccer game, the SUNY Ulster Senators vs. Monroe College-Bronx at 6 p.m. at Rondout Valley High School, 122 Kyserike Road, Accord.

Activities will include a gallery exhibition, pop-up bookstore with SUNY Ulster swag, a faculty book showcase and historical archives of the College, self-guided tour of the Master Gardener space, photo booth, debut of the new Alumni Hall of Fame posters, storytelling, art workshop, and face painting, and sand art led by the College art club and student government.

Enjoy a sandwich and a snack while listening to Daniel Palladino’s alumni band, Pour La Terre. At 3 p.m. choose from attending either a robot simulation by STEM Professor, Mark Stewart, appropriate for kids 12+ or a Garden Tour with Master Gardeners, Marge Bonner and Richard Kilberg. Also, at 3 p.m. is an alumni soccer game on SUNY Ulster’s Senate Soccer field.
