Let's put this paper to bed, the art of Sui Jenneris at Wired Gallery

The Wired Gallery presents its next exhibition, "Let's put this paper to bed, the art of Sui Jenneris" with an opening reception, 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Gallery, at 11 Mohonk Road, High Falls. This debut solo show of Jenneris runs through Sept. 22. Gallery hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

She has been surrounded by the creative environment of a tattoo artist parent and grew up immersed in punk rock culture and imaginative thinking.

"This exhibition is a culmination of years spent clipping newspapers, pasting them back together, and adorning them with paint and pen in creative fury," said Jenneris. Her artist name, inspired by the Latin phrase "sui generis" meaning "one of a kind," perfectly encapsulates her distinctive approach to art.
