The Marbletown Sportsmen’s Club, located at 95-105 Scarawan Road, Stone Ridge will host a two-day handgun safety class, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21. The class is open to the public and required for anyone in Ulster County who is or will be applying for a Pistol Permit. The cost of the course is $250 which includes classroom instruction on general firearm safety, concealed carry situational awareness, state and federal laws, firearm safe storage requirements, conflict management and suicide prevention, and live fire time training on the shooting range.
