The Mid-Hudson Library system has 384 Italian cookbooks to choose from for the Cooks and Books Italian theme this month. The Cooks & Books group is a cookbook group that meets at 12: 15 p.m. in the activity room of the Stone Ridge Library, 3700 Main St., Stone Ridge on the third Friday of each month (April 19) and takes turns choosing a cookbook or theme to cook from. Each member then makes a chosen dish to bring to the meeting then the group feasts and discusses the cookbook and recipes. It’s a whole lot of fun and great food.
