Firinn, Giardullo and Horowitz among the local artists featured in Monochromatic exhibit

The Olive Free Library Association presents its seventh annual juried summer group exhibition, Monochromatic, running through Sept. 7 in the Olive Library's spacious Community Gallery, at 4033 Route 28-A, West Shokan. The show's call for art resulted in an amazing number of artist submissions, 190 artworks by 69 artists of which 58 works, covering all styles and media, and closely adhering to the theme of the exhibition, were chosen by artist and curator Melinda Stickney-Gibson, offering the community a great way to view and purchase works by local and regional artists. Monochromatic 's participating artists include Robin Adler, Carol Altarescu, Harriet Forman Barrett, Samantha Brinkley, Julia Carmello, Heather Caufield, Linda Champanier, Maxine Davidowitz, Carol Davis, Das Elkin, Ena Firinn of High Falls, Denise Giardullo of Stone Ridge, Claudia Gorman, Patrizia Grigolo, Martha Hill, Barbara Hirth-Strauss, Danielle Holke, Stephen Horowitz, Sue Horowitz of Stone Ridge, Pat Hough, Yoko Izu, Robin Kornstein, Carole Kunstadt, Anne Leith, Sheryl Levine, Maureen Lohan-Bremer, Helene Manzo, Kate Masters, Ann Morris, Raymond Negron, Jacqueline Oster, Susan Phillips, Tracy Phillips, Lesley A.
